All Saints' Episcopal Church was founded by members of St. Luke's Church, Vancouver, Washington. The first service was held on September 17, 1978, in the gym at Eisenhower Elementary School. In 1980, services moved across the street to the parish hall at Messiah Lutheran Church, where the basketball hoop formed a halo over the altar, and the children's Sunday School was shared with Messiah classes. In 1981, the lower level of our present building was constructed, with first services held on All Saints' Day, November 1, 1981. Ten years later we broke ground and "raised the roof," adding the present sanctuary and remodeling the lower level. All Saints' Mission Statement: All Saints' is a growing Christian community led by the Holy Spirit in all that we do. Our actions model the Fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. |

We invite you to join us for Holy Eucharist |
All Saints' is a Mission of The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. The Episcopal Church GOD CALLS all human beings to new and abundant life through repentance and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is the mission of the Church to proclaim this Good News to all of God's creation. GOD LOVES all of his creation and desires to reconcile the world to himself through the atoning death of Jesus Christ. He desires to restore the creation to newness of life through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Church, as the body of Christ, lives in this reality of Christ's death and resurrection by means of the presence of the Risen Lord's real presence among us. GOD SANCTIFIES those who turn to him in repentance and faith, transforming them by the living fire of the Holy Spirit, given in Holy Baptism. This process of transformation from the old life of sin and death to the new life in grace is a lifetime experience in which we learn to cooperate with the life of God the Holy Spirit living in us, filling our lives with Divine Life and Love. GOD EMPOWERS the Church for ministry and service by strengthening gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are sent into this world which is broken and in pain to extend the hand of Jesus Christ to all people, seeking out the lost and offering to them the healing balm of Christ's love. Thus we are empowered for sacrificial love and service such as Jesus himself manifested in his earthly ministry and passion. |
